N.H. Scheppers Distributing Company’s 70+ employees are what set the company apart from competitors. We couldn’t do what we do without each and every one of them. They are led by:
Joe has been with the company full time since 1977, though he grew up all around it and watched his father, Norb, grow the business from nothing. He is a proud Helias Interparish High School and University of Missouri graduate, and enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren in Michigan.
Joe has been with N.H. Scheppers Distributing Company since 1991. A graduate of Columbia University (BS) and Columbia College (MBA), he is a former competitive diver and recreational boxer. He is on the board of directors for both the National Beer Wholesalers of America and the Missouri Beer Wholesalers Association. He also currently sits on the City of Columbia Substance Abuse Advisory Commission.
VP Finance and Administration
Kevin has been with N. H. Scheppers Distributing Company since 1988. He currently oversees the administration and operations of the company. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Kevin earned his Certified Public Accounting certificate in 1984. He is a lifelong resident of Jefferson City, and enjoys boating and water skiing with his wife and two children.
Mike joined N.H. Scheppers in 2002. As VP Sales, he is responsible for keeping the sales division of the company running at full steam. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he came to the company from a prior career in marketing and event management.
Sales Execution Coordinator
Jamie Scheppers joined company in 2013, and currently oversees various incentive programs and sales tracking, as well as “other duties as assigned.” She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern University, and worked in magazine and web-publishing before joining the team at NHSDC. She grew up in Jefferson City and now calls Columbia home. She is the current secretary of the Columbia Sunrise Southwest Rotary Club.
High End Craft Manager
Jacob has been with the company since 2015. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities with our craft and high-end suppliers, and he also oversees our craft sales reps. Jacob has also built quite the reputation as a consultant in the alcohol industry, is frequently asked to speak at conferences, such as the U.S. Beverage Expo and the Nightclub & Bar Convention. Jacob is also the founder of the charitable Southeast Craft Beer Festival and Sampling and Educational Conference.
